Selection and installation of pressure gauges

2019-09-10 09:58:53

First, the choice of pressure gauge

1, category selection:

Pressure gauges include ordinary pressure gauges, oxygen pressure gauges, acetylene gauges, vacuum gauges, pressure vacuum gauges, anti-vibration pressure gauges, corrosion-resistant pressure gauges, electrical contact pressure gauges or special functions with indication, recording, adjustment, alarm, remote transmission, etc. Pressure gauge.

1) Generally, the type of pressure gauge is selected according to the nature of the measured medium, such as state (gas, liquid), temperature, viscosity, corrosivity, degree of contamination, flammability and degree of explosion. For example, when measuring the pressure of a liquid medium, the pressure change is slow, and a common pressure gauge is used. If the pressure fluctuation is large, a shockproof pressure gauge is used.

When measuring the pressure of flammable and explosive gas medium, use an oxygen pressure gauge with an "oil-free" mark and an acetylene meter. When measuring the negative pressure of a gas, a vacuum gauge or a pressure vacuum gauge is often used. When measuring the pressure of a special medium such as viscous or acid and alkali, a stainless steel spring tube and a stainless steel movement pressure gauge should be used. An electrical contact pressure gauge can be used when there is a fixed-point alarm request. Remote pressure gauges, pressure circle recorders or other instruments can be used when there are other special requirements.

2) Requirements for instrument output signals

For situations where only pressure changes need to be observed, direct-indicating instruments such as spring-tube pressure gauges should be used; if pressure signals are to be transmitted remotely to the control room or other electric instruments, electrical pressure-testing instruments or other Instrument for electrical signal output; if you want to detect a rapidly changing pressure signal, you can use an electric pressure detection instrument, the most commonly used is a piezoresistive pressure sensor.

3) Environment used

For explosive environments, when using electrical pressure gauges, explosion-proof pressure gauges should be selected; for environments with particularly high or low temperatures, sensitive components with small temperature coefficients and corresponding change components should be selected.
